Disinformation remains one of the most significant challenges of the digital age, affecting the way citizens access information, form opinions, and make decisions in their daily lives. With the rapid growth of social media platforms and online communication channels, false or misleading information can spread quickly, making it increasingly difficult for audiences to distinguish between reliable and unreliable sources.
The program focused on practical ways to identify disinformation, recognize misleading content, verify sources, and strengthen media literacy skills. Particular attention was given to the importance of critical thinking and responsible information consumption in an environment where information is constantly available and easily shared.
The guests of the program were journalists Adrian Jasiqi, Kaltrina Zymberi, and Edona Vllasaliu, who shared their professional experiences in fact-checking, source verification, and responsible journalism. They discussed the challenges media professionals face in combating false information, the role of journalists in protecting the public from manipulation, and the growing impact of disinformation on society and democratic processes.
Through this discussion, listeners gained valuable insights into the importance of accessing verified information and developing the skills needed to navigate today’s complex media landscape. The program contributed to raising public awareness about disinformation and encouraged audiences to become more critical and informed consumers of media content.
