Internet security and disinformation are among the most pressing challenges of the digital age. The rapid expansion of social media and digital communication platforms has created new opportunities for accessing information, but it has also increased the risks associated with false news, manipulation of public opinion, cyber threats, and violations of personal privacy. As people spend more time online, the need to recognize misleading content and protect personal information has become increasingly important.
The program explored the relationship between disinformation and digital privacy, highlighting how misleading information can spread rapidly through online platforms and how users can become vulnerable to manipulation, scams, and misuse of personal data. Special attention was given to practical measures that individuals can take to verify information sources, protect their online accounts, and navigate the digital environment more safely.
The guests of the program were Kestrin Kumnova, journalist, Valon Kerrolli, cybersecurity expert, Arta Dreshaj, journalist, and Erza Nila, journalist and producer. They shared their professional experiences and perspectives on the challenges posed by disinformation and digital insecurity. The discussion emphasized the importance of media literacy, responsible online behavior, data protection, and critical thinking as essential tools for building a safer and more trustworthy digital environment.
Through this discussion, listeners gained valuable knowledge on how to identify unreliable information, protect their privacy online, and become more informed and responsible users of digital media.
